How to Embrace Life

Today, let’s focus on a topic that’s real close to my heart – How to embrace life and all that it has to offer you!

Embrace and love your body. It’s the most amazing thing you will ever own. Unknown Author

So glad you have returned for more uplifting inspiration that comes from within. Now, think about that for a moment and define what that means to you, right now in this very moment.

Then, answer this question: What is your personal vision for your life?

Take a moment and visualize your life as you want it to be. I suggest you go to a quiet, private environment for 15 minutes every day where you can close your eyes and imagine your body, environment, relationships, and life in ways that please you. Always remember, what has been, has nothing to do with what will be, and what others experience has nothing to do with your personal experience.

This is the moment where you must find a way to separate yourself from all of the past and from others in order to be what you want to be. Then, you will be able to embrace life as your own while enjoying your personal journey taking one step at a time.

The more you embrace and surrender to change, the more you will be supported. -Unknown Author

Believe it or not, you have within you, right now, everything you need to deal with whatever the world can throw at you. You have to dig deep within yourself to be your own hero. Do you have the courage to do so? Sure you do. Just because you are struggling throughout your journey sometimes does not mean you are failing at life. Keep believing and the good things will happen in due time.

Do you have the faith to believe in yourself? Always remember the one who falls and gets back up is so much stronger than the one who never fell at all.

Your purpose is to fully be all that you are. Look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself with confidence – I BELIEVE IN

Your greatest obstacle and your greatest strength stare back at you in the mirror every day. – Unknown Author

Strength grows in the moments when you think you can’t go on but you keep going anyway. – Unknown Author

As you can see, journaling holds all of your emotions, thoughts, and feelings in one sacred place. Journaling has a way to uncover parts of yourself you never thought existed. Journaling can be fun, but also can be a serious process to help you cope with many life’s challenges, such as depression, grief, or loneliness. The most important fact about journaling is you have total control throughout the experience. You can keep it
secret or share it with others. No matter what you decide, always be open, honest, and willing to write from the heart. Simply put, journaling is a powerful way to process events in your life, build self-awareness, get more clarity, and keep yourself on track.

Now, open your journal or notebook and practice journaling each day by using these helpful journal prompts:

Mind Journal Prompts

 What quote(s) inspires you on a difficult day?
 What do you love about life?

Renew Inspiration was created with you in mind. I wanted to create a safe place where people could come to renew their inspiration wholeheartedly by reading encouraging blogs, seeing positive quotes to uplift one’s mood, and to learn various ways to improve one’s health and well-being.

My name is Latisha. I am a wife and mother of 2 hearing impaired children. My husband and I have been married for more than 15 years. I am passionate about helping and encouraging others to do better. I am a caring person and I spend a lot of time advocating for my children educationally, mentally, and socially. I decided to step out on faith to pursue a blogging career.

I have always enjoyed writing in my journal, but I recently began writing to comfort my soul when my mother passed away in December 2015. This was a dark time for me, but I found that writing and capturing my feelings on paper offered me a sense of comfort that even I could not
explain. Now, fast forward to 2018. This was the year of positive change for me when I chose to officially launch my Renew Inspiration blog. Please visit my blog often so we can enjoy this amazing experience together. Hope to see you soon!

  1. I love the encouragment in this post.

The line that hit me the most is this….
“the one who falls and gets back up is so much stronger than the one who never fell at all.”

It is so true, but we don’t often perceive it in the midst of our fall.

  2. Such lovely encouragement. It is easy to forget ourselves and be uncontent when we are surrounded by images and stories of people who are thinner, prettier, or richer. I love your prompts and the line “I believe in the person I am becoming one day at a time.”.

    I do.

  3. I needed to see this today. Thank you for the journaling ideas. I have been putting off writing things like this down, but I think I am ready to start. I appreciate the questions/guide to get the process going!
